The Artist Behind These Unique Ceramic creations

Meet Angelina Chung :

An Irish Asian artist born and bred in Sligo in the 90's, she has loved creating from a young age. With years of education under her belt in the arts she has developed her own creative voice and style. Finishing her educational journey with a Master's in Fine Art from Belfast (2017), her sculptural and creative journey continues, her ceramic journey began within the same time as when her 1st child was born.

Clay and molding clay offers a medium of boundless creative expression. But Angelina's vision extends beyond form and function, to her it isn't just crafting ceramics or production making, she's throwing, sculpting, glazing her heart and soul into every bespoke pieces in her body of work. She believes in the power of crystals and energy and her intention is to make every piece of her limited specialized works be both functional and looked upon at as a piece of artwork. Transforming a common daily used item such as a mug, and elevating the drinking and user experience to bring the person joy when they use one of her bespoke handmade mugs. Incorporating genuine crystals as a charm and function in her creative works.

Her handmade infused crystal mugs are very desirable and the best thoughts and care is used when each piece is created. Each piece could provide the user with different types of energy depending on which type of crystal mug they choose. Amethyst for protection against negativity energy, rose quartz for love and so on. Thoughtful and careful selection of crystal's are individually and placed and adhered to the mugs. Imagine these crystals as tiny conduits, gently guiding positive energy or cleansing energy towards the recipient to help heal and guide them as they have their morning or evening cuppa.

Every detail is a taken with a meticulous approach. From the intricate hand-sculpted elements to the unique crystal combinations, each piece is a bespoke creation, a reflection of her inspiration and the energy she wishes to impart. Nature and animals especially butterfly's serves as her constant muse, inspiring her to create forms that are both elegant and organic.
